IDR Healthcare is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Gardendale, Alabama.

End Date : 01 / 26 / 2026

Shift : AM (morning shift)

Join our team as a Physical Therapist in Alabama for a 13-week contract (with possibility to extend). You’ll work with patients to restore mobility and function, develop and implement therapy plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver physical therapy interventions (therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, gait training, etc.)
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
  • Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes
  • Communicate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and therapists to coordinate care
  • Provide patient and family education on home exercise programs and safety

    • Requirements :

  • Active Alabama Physical Therapist license (or in-process with license expected before start)
  • BLS certification
  • Prior inpatient / outpatient PT experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
