Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience for a multi-location outpatient imaging assignment requiring ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
Position involves working in outpatient imaging centers specializing in X-Ray and CT scansPatient volume varies by location, averaging 15-30 scans per dayGeneral X-ray, outpatient fluoroscopy, and typical outpatient CT procedures are performedCandidates must be willing to work at any of 4 locations, informed in advance before each shiftDay shifts with a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7 : 15 AM to 5 : 45 PM; no weekends, call, or holiday shiftsUses Epic EMR and Sectra PACS for imaging recordsOperates GE and Shimadzu X-ray equipment and Philips CT scannersLead technologists are present at each site and radiologists are available onsite during the dayPrimary responsibilities include performing general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and CT imaging for outpatient populationsNo weekend, call, or holiday coverage requiredMust provide a copy of a current driver's license for considerationTwo professional references required : one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the past 3 yearsCandidates will receive 12 hours of orientationAssignment may require working at any imaging center within 15 minutes' distanceRequirements
Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience requiredActive BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) requiredDemonstrated IV start skills are mandatory for CT proceduresExperience with GE, Shimadzu, and Philips imaging equipment preferredFamiliarity with Epic EMR and Sectra PACS systems preferredLicense required if applicable and must be active at the time of consideration; pending licenses not acceptedBenefits
