Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience for a multi-location outpatient imaging assignment requiring ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Position involves working in outpatient imaging centers specializing in X-Ray and CT scans

Patient volume varies by location, averaging 15-30 scans per day

General X-ray, outpatient fluoroscopy, and typical outpatient CT procedures are performed

Candidates must be willing to work at any of 4 locations, informed in advance before each shift

Day shifts with a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7 : 15 AM to 5 : 45 PM; no weekends, call, or holiday shifts

Uses Epic EMR and Sectra PACS for imaging records

Operates GE and Shimadzu X-ray equipment and Philips CT scanners

Lead technologists are present at each site and radiologists are available onsite during the day

Primary responsibilities include performing general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and CT imaging for outpatient populations

No weekend, call, or holiday coverage required

Must provide a copy of a current driver's license for consideration

Two professional references required : one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the past 3 years

Candidates will receive 12 hours of orientation

Assignment may require working at any imaging center within 15 minutes' distance

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience required

Active BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) required

Demonstrated IV start skills are mandatory for CT procedures

Experience with GE, Shimadzu, and Philips imaging equipment preferred

Familiarity with Epic EMR and Sectra PACS systems preferred

License required if applicable and must be active at the time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
