Job Description
The Office Manager plays a key role in keeping the practice running smoothly, balancing day-to-day operations with long-term efficiency goals. This position ensures the office delivers excellent patient care while staying compliant with healthcare standards. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills to support staff, maintain accurate records, and keep workflows on track.
- Supervise and train office assistants, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality customer service
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and patient care
- Oversee the maintenance of electronic medical records and patient charts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to streamline processes and resolve issues
- Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies and equipment
- Prepare reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Handle escalated patient inquiries and complaints, striving for satisfactory resolution
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare standards
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of two years of experience in a medical front office role, with supervisory experience preferredExceptional leadership and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with medical software preferredFlexible availability with a willingness to adapt to changing schedulesStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent time management and organizational abilitiesA collaborative team player with a positive and energetic attitude focused on delivering outstanding customer serviceAdditional Information
