We are seeking an Operations Manager to support a large, state-of-the-art contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) located in Holly Springs, NC. This facility is one of the largest end-to-end biopharmaceutical manufacturing sites in North America, specializing in large-scale cell culture production and advanced biologics manufacturing.
This is a contract position requiring daily onsite presence , working in close partnership with the customer’s hiring and people managers. The Operations Manager will lead and manage Insight Global consultants / contractors only, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, team engagement, and process improvement. This role serves as a critical liaison between the CDMO customer , Insight Global , and Evergreen , acting as the central point of coordination to ensure alignment, communication, and collaboration across all stakeholders.

Core hours : 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM (arrival by 6 : 30 AM)
What You’ll Do
- Lead and Manage People :
- Oversee scheduling and timekeeping in collaboration and alignment with customer stakeholders and the Insight Global Account Manager.
- Conduct 1 : 1 meetings with consultants , provide job-related feedback, and report progress to the Project Coordinator (PC).
- Maintain high morale through open communication and by planning team-building events.
- Operational Oversight :
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and support the creation and implementation of SOPs for consistent processes.
- Manage access and security coordination for consultants.
- Run orientation meetings for new hires in collaboration with PC
- Process & Reporting Improvements :
- Identify gaps in reporting and develop new metrics and KPIs.
- Curate qualitative feedback into measurable, actionable data.
- Act as a consulting partner to the customer for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Serve as the primary liaison between the CDMO customer, Insight Global, and Evergreen.
- Ensure consultants are supported and customer expectations are met.
Qualifications
5–10 years in an operational management role, required experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Background in supporting technical operations such as maintenance, site utilities, HVAC, or instrumentation.Strong understanding of industrial or facility operations and ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.Proven ability to manage diverse skillsets and roles in a fast-paced environment.Experience creating and implementing SOPs, policies, and process improvements.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to develop reporting dashboards.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.Ability to work onsite daily and maintain alignment with multiple stakeholders.Familiarity with KPIs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies.
