About the Role
The Investor Relations Specialist is a relationship-driven professional responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with BeQuests existing investors. This role is focused on delivering high-touch service, maximizing retention, and driving increased wallet share through strategic conversations, portfolio reviews, and personalized engagement.
IR Specialists work in close partnership with Hunters (new business development), the Investor Relations Coordinator (IRC) team, and Marketing to ensure a seamless investor experience from onboarding through long-term relationship management.
K ey Responsibilities
Investor Onboarding & Kickoff
- Personally conduct kickoff meetings with new investors within 14 days of funding.
- Reinforce the rationale behind the investor's decision, set expectations, and co-create a 6-month engagement plan.
- Own and manage the 65-day onboarding journey with a structured call / email cadence.
- Partner with IRC and Marketing to continuously refine onboarding based on feedback and results.
Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for all current investor relationships.Provide proactive, consistent communication through calls, emails, and meetings.Ensure CRM records are complete and up to date with notes, engagement plans, and action items.Portfolio Reviews & Strategy
Conduct quarterly portfolio review meetings with each investor.Discuss performance, address questions, and recommend reinvestment or product diversification.Educate investors on new offerings and reinvestment opportunities.Referral Development
Actively ask for referrals during strategic investor touch-points.Facilitate warm introductions to Hunters for follow-up and onboarding.Strategic Collaboration
Work with Marketing to align investor communications and messaging.Partner with IRC to ensure smooth handoffs between onboarding, servicing, and long-term management.Share investor insights with leadership to inform strategy, product development, and process improvements.Ideal Candidate Profile
