Location : Remote / Flexible (CT, NJ, or NY)

We are looking for a motivated Freight Sales Representative to help us expand by bringing in new shippers, brokers, and direct freight contracts.

Position Overview

This is a commission-only, 1099 independent contractor role focused exclusively on securing freight contracts and new clients . You’ll use your sales skills and industry connections to generate revenue and build long-term relationships.

If you thrive in freight sales, have existing shipper or broker contacts, or are ready to build a client base with unlimited, uncapped income potential , this is your opportunity.

Responsibilities

Identify and acquire new shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and brokers.

Negotiate and close freight contracts, dedicated lanes, and long-term agreements.

Build and maintain relationships to encourage repeat business.

Monitor freight market trends, rates, and opportunities.

Collaborate with operations to ensure contracts are profitable and serviceable.

While this position is 100% remote, candidates may occasionally be asked to pursue in-person, business-to-business outreach within their own state of residence (no crossing state lines) to secure accounts.

Qualifications

Prior experience in freight sales, logistics, or brokerage strongly preferred.

Existing shipper or broker connections a major plus.

Strong negotiation and communication skills required.

Self-motivated and entrepreneurial — able to work independently.

Commission-driven mindset with a focus on results.

Compensation

1099 Independent Contractor position (Not W2 / No taxes withheld).

100% commission-only — no base salary or hourly pay.

Earn 5–10% of gross revenue from every client / contract you secure.

Recurring commissions as long as the client remains active with the company.

Example : Secure a client with $20,000 / month in freight, and earn $1,000–$2,000 every month in residual income.
