About The Position

Experience : Minimum 1 year of clinic experience required

License : RN

Certifications : BLS required; ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

• Clinic experience preferred.
• Cardiovascular experience required with knowledge of vascular disease and treatments preferred.
• Understanding of cardiac and vascular testing preferred.
• Ability to work independently and be very organized.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration with the team is a must.

Description :

CLINIC EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Clinics will have up to 22 patients per day.

Patient types include general cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular surgery.

The nurse will see 22 patients per day.

Support on the unit includes EKG tech and clinical assistants.

There will be one clinical assistant per 10 rooms.

Nursing leadership includes a lead RN and a nursing manager (RN).

Charting system used is Epic (required).

Floating will occur within the cardiology clinic as needed.

Outreach coverage for providers may be required.

No weekends or call required.

Holiday expectations include two out of four required.

The day after Thanksgiving is considered a holiday.

Preference for a contract extension to cover any full week off.

Scrub color is navy blue.
