• Peds : Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff), Ventilation Mgmt (Newborn) : Acute & Chronic.
• Ventilation Mgmt (Peds) : Acute & Chronic.
• Intubation (ETT / NT) : Newborns & Peds
• Conscious & Deep sedation, Central & Arterial lines, UVC, UAC, Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis.
• Chest tube insertion, Needle pneumothorax : Decompression, X-ray & EKG interpretation.
• Exchange transfusion, Suturing minor lacerations and Swallow studied.
• Ped Critical Care : Venilation Mgmt : Invasive, Non-Invasive & Familiarity w / use of nitric oxcide (iNO), Chest tube insertion, Eval & mgmt of acute volume / BP issues, Insertion of Central & Arterial lines
• Insertion of PA Catheter, ICP evaluation & Mgmt, Hemodialysis catheter placement & Diagnostic / therapeutic taps.
• Support Staff : 1-2 RNs
• Beds in the Dept : 5
• Trauma Level : IV
• EMR : Epic
