Nationally recognized Selected Independent firm, Broussards Mortuary, is looking to expand their team of licensed funeral professionals. Established in 1889, Broussards serves six locations in Southeast Texas.

_Schedule Expectations_

  • Work most national holidays
  • On-call an average of 4 nights per month (paired with a transporter)
  • Normal hours are 8 : 00 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m. with 1-hour break, when possible
  • _Qualifications _

  • _Education / Licensing _

  • Embalming license issued by the Texas Funeral Service Commission
  • Valid Texas Drivers License

  • _Primary Responsibilities_

  • Prepare decedents for final disposition according to company standards
  • Adhere to all professional, municipal, state, and federal licensing regulations applicable to embalming
  • Build relationships with funeral directors and work cooperatively with staff to provide high quality service to achieve client family satisfaction
  • Obtain vital information to complete necessary documentation
  • Complete required authorizations
  • Maintain clean and organized care center
  • Coordinate with all directors and locations to ensure deadline and expectations are met
