What You’ll Do

Use AutoCAD 3D to create and revise foundation and structural steel layouts, detail drawings, and sketches.

Draft multi-view drawings of concrete and steel support systems.

Prepare finished drawings, checking dimensions and alignment of parts.

Support engineers with calculations and layout work.

Maintain organized production drawing files and revision records.

Apply industry standards (ASTM, ANSI, OSHA, UBC, API, PIP, etc.) to design work.

What We’re Looking For

Associate degree in drafting, engineering technology, or equivalent experience.

1–3 years of CAD design experience (internships, co-ops, or related school projects welcome).

Familiarity with AutoCAD Plant 3D (training available).

Exposure to 3D scanning, point cloud generation, or interest in learning.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Bonus Skills (not required, but nice to have) :

Process Flow Diagram (PFD) development.

Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) generation.

Smart P&ID experience.

Isometric piping details and 2D orthographic drawings.
