American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) with at least 2 years of experience for an inpatient and outpatient rehab position in an acute care hospital.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is based in an acute care hospital setting with both inpatient and outpatient rehab responsibilitiesSLP works with a diverse patient populationDay shifts are 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm, five days per weekOne weekend day per week is requiredEpic is used for charting and EMR documentation experience is requiredCandidates are required to float between like units within the hospital and may float to affiliated nearby facilitiesNew graduates may be considered only if Clinical Fellowship Year is completed and SLP-CCC is obtainedReturn staff must wait at least three months before returning as a travelerTravelers are expected to float to sister facilities as neededMinimal requested time off (RTO) will be considered if included at time of applicationWillingness to work two out of three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year) is requiredLocals are accepted according to the facility policy, with a 50-mile radius rule appliedFree parking is available on siteOrientation and mandatory modules must be completed prior to start\n \n Requirements\n
Current SLP-CCC credential is requiredAt least 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a comparable settingCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationValid California SLP license is required for considerationPending licenses are not acceptedReferences from at least two supervisors covering one year of recent relevant employment are requiredExperience with Epic EMR is requiredLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
