LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004!

About The Position

Seeking a full-time Hematology / Oncology Physician to join a multispecialty group practice. The role involves providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with a focus on both hematologic and oncologic conditions.

Job Responsibilities :

  • See 15–20 outpatient patients per day.
  • Manage 3–5 hospital patients per day.
  • Perform hematology (25%) and oncology (75%) services.
  • Participate in tumor boards and blood bank activities.
  • Order tests, images, and prescribe treatments as required.
  • Manage VAD / CV catheters and perform FNA / biopsy procedures.
  • Administer intrathecal and intracavitary chemotherapy.
  • Participate in a call rotation (10 days / month including weekends).
  • Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare staff to ensure quality care.

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Hematology – Required.
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Oncology – Required.
  • Active or eligible for Ohio medical license – Required.
  • BLS and ACLS certification – Required.
  • DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) – Required.
  • Relevant procedural experience – Required.
  • Willing to live within 40-mile radius or relocate – Required.
  • Eligible candidates may require J-1 or H-1B visa support.
