Job Description :

Under the direction of the Principal, the Library Technician :

Operates the school Learning Commons and provides services in an automated / digital environment to meet the needs of staff and students;

Promotes authors, books, literacy, technology and holds special events;

Performs administrative functions associated with the Learning Commons and / or school;

Coordinates volunteers’ activities;

Required Qualifications :

Status : Casual Library Technicians must be available to work on call during regular school hours.

Annual (or Hourly) Salary : Hourly wage of $31.64 plus 4% in lieu of vacation (The hourly wage effective as of September, 2025, is $32.64).

Locations : Various schools
