Overview

The Collibra Developer will be a technical developer generalist, focused on integrations and workflows for the data governance platform, Collibra. The role designs, develops, and implements technical integration and automation for Collibra.

Location : Telecommute

Job type : Contract

Salary : $55 - 67 per hour

Work hours : 8am to 5pm

Education : Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Implement technical solutions in Collibra : Workflows, Data Catalog integrations, and Application integrations
  • Act as an escalation point for support requests and sysadmin tasks
  • Gather requirements, scoping, and discovery
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Stay up to date on new Collibra features and products, including the Java and REST APIs
  • Coordinate with the vendor on issues and feature requests

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of programming experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise software application development

  • Reference data management experience
  • GitHub experience
  • Ability to analyze complex processes into sub-processes

  • Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong meeting facilitation and presentation skills
  • Effective communication with diverse people at various organizational levels
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Flexible and customer-focused with the ability to work in ambiguous environments
