Business Development Manager – Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar revenue‐driven roleProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsDemonstrated success building and managing client relationships across multiple industriesCandidates should have experience in one or more of the following (preferably two or three) :– Hospitality, hotels, resorts, or casinos (in a role that built connections and grew business in this vertical)
– International staffing, visas, or temporary / seasonal visa programs
– Meat processing or manufacturing (calling on manufacturers directly, or national retailers on behalf of a manufacturer)
Ability to identify and pursue new market opportunities and negotiate profitable contractsStrong organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects at onceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsFluent in English; additional languages are a plusWillingness to travel for events, client visits, and recruitment fairsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‐paced, target‐driven environmentBusiness Development Manager – Preferred Background & Skills
Prior involvement in hospitality sales / business development and / or seasonal workforce planningPrior involvement in the meat manufacturing / production space (either calling on manufacturers directly or calling on national retailers on behalf of a manufacturer)Experience in international markets and cross‐cultural business developmentFamiliarity with temporary / seasonal visa programs (H-2A, H-2B)Background in contract negotiation for high‐value client agreementsExperience collaborating with marketing teams to create campaigns targeting niche industriesComfort presenting to C‐suite and senior decision‐makers
