About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing robotics team. You will work with a world-class cross-functional team to help develop and build the world’s most advanced robotic systems for large-scale robotics opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Architect software solutions for robotics systems, focusing on high performance, maintainability, scalability, and fault tolerance using Rust.
• Collaborate across disciplines to investigate issues and identify technical solutions.
• Develop robot capabilities : task planning, multi-agent path planning, multi-robot coordination to improve warehouse throughput; automation of picking, packing, and sorting; design algorithms to distribute and break down orders while minimizing robot congestion; develop multi-robot simulation and 3D visualization to predict system behavior for launches and ramp-ups.
• Provide input on product development from brainstorming to delivery, considering second- and third-order effects.
• Analyze complex system behavior in production to validate feature impact and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Own end-to-end delivery of large feature initiatives : technical design, reviews, and delegation of work; on-call production support and debugging in production as needed.
• Lead and mentor engineers, review code, and help drive the technical roadmap; manage backlogs and cross-team hand-offs.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary : $180,000 - $250,000 per year, base plus generous equity. Benefits include Paid Time Off, health insurance, paid parental leave, commuter benefits, referral bonus, 401k, and equity.
