Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and recommend commercial terms and operational conditions for gathering, transportation, fractionation, and purchase contracts for NGLs
Y-Grade Contract
NGL Purchase / Sales / StorageExchange AgreementsNGL / LPG Exports, preferredEnsure accurate and timely entry of executed deals into internal systems (Allegro), maintaining alignment between commercial terms, confirmations, and any necessary mark-to-market reportingAnalyze domestic and international NGL / LPG market fundamentals, infrastructure developments, and arbitrage opportunities to inform commercial decisionsNegotiation of new agreements or renegotiation of existing agreementsBecome an expert on existing agreements to ensure compliance with pricing, measurement, commitments and other contract provisionsCollaborate with internal departments to coordinate volume and other key commercial dataWorks with all areas of the company to analyze and disseminate market information to senior management, financial, legal, and operational departmentsActive involvement with internal departments (i.e. Division Operations, Accounting, Finance, Legal, Credit) and external customers (i.e. Pipelines, Processors, Gatherers, Marketers, Refiners, and other key Customers)Provides economic and market area evaluations to ensure production flows timely and to the highest netback marketsDevelop and / or maintain models used in the support of ongoing Midstream and Marketing department needsStay abreast of key trends and market conditions for respective areas of focus; communicate to internal stakeholdersPrepare and present executive level material on a regular basis regarding key business projects, strategic recommendations, market conditionsAssist with various projects and other duties assigned by managers

Skilled in negotiating commercial contracts and interpreting deal structures involving price formulas, fees, and optionalityExperience with NGL exports, including coordination of marine cargoes, terminal operations, and familiarity with global LPG and ethane market dynamicsProject management from inception to executionExperience in Commercial Development, Deal Structure and NegotiationsAbility to lead and work successfully in a team environmentAbility to interpret contracts and proposals and translate into financial modelsAble to work successfully in an office environment with moderate to heavy daily pressure to meet deadlinesEffective and efficient oral and written communication skillsEducation / Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree in business related field, engineering or energy management preferredMinimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience (energy related)MBA a plusAbility to travelPosition will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
