Systems Technicians troubleshoot, repair and install systems on boats ranging from 30-60'. These systems include : DC Electrical Charging & Distribution, AC Electrical, Engines, Generators, Water Makers, Navigation Electronics, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating, Communications and more.

Safe Harbor Great Island Systems Technicians will be trained through a combination of mentoring, ABYC courses and OEM Product Training to develop their knowledge of : maintenance procedures; installation application requirements and troubleshooting using both computer interfaces and diagnostic equipment such as multi-meters, refrigeration gauge sets, and product specific tooling.

Systems Technicians execute annual decommissioning and recommissioning procedures on the vessels stored at Safe Harbor Great Island. These procedures are iPad based and guide the technician through the process while capturing critical data for the customer.
