About the job : As a Registered Nurse, you will coordinate and provide medical cares for persons served and to ensure that all medical-related services provided are essential to, or helpful in, the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health and well-being of each person served.
Essential job responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Follow proper nursing techniques when giving injections, blood draws, suppositories, catheter changes, wound care, etc.
- Ensure medications / treatments are properly given / done.
- Comprehend Individual Risk Management Plan and reporting procedures.
- Provide medical in-services / training as requested by supervisor.
- Teach and retrain Medication Administration Program to unlicensed personnel as needed.
- Provide reliable, prompt and complete information to supervisors.
- Be available for person served emergency and non-emergency situations and be willing to answer questions by phone concerning health care of persons served.
Qualifications :
Graduate from an accredited nursing program as a Registered Nurse (RN).Currently holds an unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing and / or possess multi-state licensure privileges.Completes required continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of PCS.Must pass DHS background clearance.Must have valid driver’s license and meet company driving criteria.Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand the English language while conducting company business.Benefit Highlights :
