DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will portion and assemble resident meal trays and nourishments to provide nutritional support. Your work will involve storing food and supplies in dining areas, portioning food in advance, and preparing snacks between meals. You will also prepare and set up tray line for tray assembly then assemble meals in trays according to menus and tray tags. As a worker, you will ensure food is served in clean, sanitary and safe conditions by cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils. Additionally, you will dispose of trash and transport food and supplies to and from the dietary building.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 10 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM, including weekends and holidays, with rotating days off, and a 30-minute flex lunch. This may change based on operational needs.
- Overtime as needed

Willingness to work in South Mountain, Franklin County, PennsylvaniaPrevious food service worker experienceKnowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements in a dietary department / food service operationWork experience in any of the following :Cleaning, washing, peeling, slicing, and dicing vegetables
Using kitchen equipment such as VCM / food processor / tabletop chopper / garbage disposalChopping, dicing, and slicing meats, poultry, fish, and cheesesGrilling, steaming, and heating simple foods such as eggs, sandwiches and hamburgersPreparing sandwiches, assembling salads, and serving portions including dessertsPreparing and serving hot and cold beveragesCleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, work surfaces, and other kitchen itemsAssisting in loading and unloading food delivery trucksTransporting food supplies to and from freezers, refrigerators and storeroomExperience working in areas such as assisted living / long-term care facilities, correctional facilities, hospitals, nursing homes / long-term care facilities, fast food restaurants, family or small chain restaurants, large chain restaurants, cafeterias, school lunch programs, and interacting with patients / residents / customers while serving food or cleaning in a dining room.Legal Requirements :
