A company is looking for a Medical Assistant II Medication Access Prior Authorization for the Medication Clinic.
Key Responsibilities
Reviews and submits requests for medication prior authorization
Communicates with patients, physicians, and clinic staff regarding medication access
Coordinates medication patient assistance programs and participates in quality assurance reviews
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant Professional Certification or Medical Administrative Assistant Certification required
Nationally Recognized MA Certification required (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMA, etc.)
Previous experience in a clinical setting required
Three years of experience with medication and authorizations highly preferred
