Lead Critical Emergency Response. North Alabama Restorations Inc. is seeking an experienced Restoration Mitigation Manager to lead emergency response and mitigation operations across North Alabama. This role oversees water, fire, mold, and storm-damage projects, ensuring fast, compliant, and high-quality service for homeowners, businesses, and insurance partners. The Restoration Mitigation Manager supervises technicians, coordinates with adjusters and vendors, and ensures projects meet IICRC and insurer standards. This position combines leadership with hands-on field involvement to drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and successful project transitions into reconstruction.

Location : Huntsville, AL (with travel to Madison, Decatur, and Athens)

Pay Range : $75,000-$95,000+ annually + performance bonuses, depending on experience
Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday; On-Call after-hours / weekend emergency response on rotation; Travel required within Huntsville, Madison, Decatur, and Athens
Travel requirements : Local travel to project sites as listed above
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Response Leadership : Direct on-site mitigation operations including water extraction, drying, demolition, mold remediation, and fire cleanup.
- Team Management : Supervise and train mitigation technicians; assign tasks, monitor safety compliance, and ensure use of PPE.
- Damage Assessment : Inspect sites, create mitigation scopes, and prepare Xactimate estimates within 24-48 hours for adjuster approval.
- Project Coordination : Work with subcontractors, vendors, and contents specialists for packouts, storage, and logistics.
- Documentation & Compliance : Maintain detailed records with photos / videos; ensure OSHA, IICRC S500 / S520, and environmental compliance.
- Client & Insurance Communication : Provide clear updates, manage expectations, and facilitate seamless transition to reconstruction teams.
- Equipment Oversight : Manage inventory of dehumidifiers, air movers, and vehicles; schedule maintenance and track utilization.
- Financial Oversight : Approve department timesheets, expenses, and invoices; contribute to financial reporting.
Qualifications
Experience : 5+ years in water / fire damage mitigation; 2+ years in a supervisory role.Certifications : IICRC WRT & ASD required; FSRT & Mold Remediation preferred.Skills : Proficiency in Xactimate, psychrometric charts, moisture mapping, and project management software.Knowledge : Familiarity with Allstate, Alacrity, and insurer restoration protocols.Physical Requirements : Able to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined / hazardous environments, and respond to 24 / 7 emergencies.Licenses : Valid Alabama driver\'s license with an insurable driving record; OSHA 10 / 30 certification preferred.Benefits
