Medasource is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : Stepdown

  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type : Travel

Skill Set Most recruited for :

Must have :   candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

  • Stepdown experience
  • Telemetry experience

    • Preferred or nice to have :   candidates with these skills will be considered first.

  • Prior CV surgery and vascular surgery population experience (open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, and fem-pop bypass) within a year
  • CVICU experience

    • List typical procedures performed on unit(s) :

  • Epidural management
  • Chest tube management
  • Tube feedings
  • IV gluccomander
  • Cardiac gtt management (phenylephrine, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinone, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, heparin, nitroglycerin, ketamine)

    • Best personality Fit :

  • Team player
  • Enjoys fast paced environment
  • Flexible

    • REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS :

  • ACLS and BLS

    • Floating Area(s) :

  • Any SD (1 : 5 ratios) or MS (1 : 6-7 ratios) unit, ER inpatient holding area (1 : 6).
