Position Overview :

As a Student Success Advisor at Tricoci University, you will play a vital role in guiding students through their educational experience. Your focus will be on building relationships, supporting students in their academic journeys, and enhancing their overall experience at our institution.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Establish and maintain supportive relationships with students to foster a positive educational environment.
  • Provide tailored academic and career advice to help students achieve their goals.
  • Monitor and assess student attendance and academic performance, intervening as necessary.
  • Assist students in utilizing campus resources and support services that promote their success.
  • Collaborate with faculty to identify students who need additional assistance and develop plans to help them succeed.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and workshops to orient students to available resources and opportunities.
  • Document student interactions and track progress to evaluate outcomes.
  • Organize student engagement activities to promote community and enhance the learning experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in student advising, mentoring, or coaching, particularly in the beauty industry or an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective student engagement.
  • Understanding of the challenges that students face and strategies to support their success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Passion for student advocacy and a commitment to excellence in beauty education.
  • Schedule varies Monday thru Friday 8 : 30-5 : 00pm cst and 11 : 00-8 : 00pm cst

    • In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $40,000 and $50,000 Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
