Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Stepdown Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel PLEASE NOTE : 1 : 3 with trachs and ventilator management REQUIRED Non-titrated cardiac drip management (Amiodarone, Milrinone, lasix, cardizem (titrated), dopamine and dobutamine) required. Insulin 3 : 1 preferred (not required) Certifications REQUIRED : NIH, ACLS, BLS (AHA only - no RQI) Meditech Expanse Experience Preferred Will consider first time travelers with PCU experience with 1 : 3-4 ratios Weekend Requirement- minimum of 2 weekends / month (could be more). Float within areas of competency (med / surg, tele, obs). Omnicell med system. SBAR communication. 24hr orientation. Navy scrubs (not provided). No locals within 50 miles. Provider support includes Interpretation Services, Lift Teams, Pharmacy, Phlebotomy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Unit Secretary. Intensivist and Hospitalist provider coverage.
