  • Unit Summary

    As a Float RN, you’ll be a versatile team player, working across all acute care units to ensure smooth operations. You’ll provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards.

    Position Responsibilities

  • Implement care plans, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
  • Document all patient care provided.
  • Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene and nutrition.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Evaluate and address the learning needs of patients and families.
  • Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
  • Supervise daily staffing assignments and provide mentorship to staff.
  • Ensure quality of services and compliance with policies and protocols.
  • Lead the resolution of complex issues and patient complaints.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • Current RN license to practice in Kentucky
  • 2 years of critical care experience
  • Certifications : BCLS; ACLS & PALS as per unit requirements
