Travel Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care (LTC)

Shift Times : 6 : 30 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Hours / Day : 12

Shift Notes : 6 : 30 PM – 7 : 00 AM / 36 hours guaranteed

Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend

On Call Requirements : None

Position Overview

Work under the supervision of the Unit Manager / ADON / DON to care for a group of residents / patients, ensuring safety, adherence to the plan of care, and supervision of nursing assistants and other support staff. Maintain compliance with State Nurse Practice Act and applicable JCAHO standards.

Essential Duties

Deliver patient care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

Adhere to Villa’s policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Maintain a safe environment for residents / patients and staff.

Supervise and support nursing assistants and helpers in care activities.

Demonstrate core principles : Exceptional Care, Passionate Services, and Unexpected Luxury.

Maintain documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Remain flexible with scheduling as blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed.

Maintain an active MI iCHAT account and be authorized to schedule fingerprinting.

Submission Requirements

Minimum 2 years of SNF / LTC or Med / Surg experience – Required

BLS (AHA or Red Cross) – Required

COVID-19 vaccination – Required (Medical & Religious exemptions considered)
