Job Summary

We are seeking a Curriculum Design Consultant to develop a comprehensive training program for guides / mentors who support individuals recently released from jail. This curriculum will equip guides with the tools and skills to help participants navigate reentry challenges—including psychosocial well-being, employment readiness, benefits enrollment, and compliance with parole or probation requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create a structured training framework that organizes subject matter expert content into clear, outcomes-based modules.
• Apply adult learning theory, experiential learning, and universal design to ensure accessibility, engagement, and practical application.
• Draft facilitator guides, participant workbooks, activities, and assessment tools using input and materials from subject matter experts.
• Partner closely with two subject matter experts to ensure curriculum content is accurate, relevant, and responsive to reentry needs.
• Develop training-of-trainers (ToT) materials to prepare staff and facilitators to deliver the curriculum effectively.
• Pilot test modules, gather feedback, and revise curriculum for continuous improvement.
