Our Service Specialists conduct service agreement tasks, scheduled maintenance assignments and project support to ensure the building automation systems inside buildings such as hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities are properly maintained and operating correctly. Our Service Specialists are the face of Siemens, and your expertise and regular interaction with the customer will help them save energy and money, as well as create a more sustainable future for our environment. This role is covering the New Jersey territory.

As a Service Specialist, you will :

• Executes digitalization and standard service operations strategies
• Works with multiple internal service team members including Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and Region Americas Digital Service Center personnel
• Follows safety requirements as outlined by Siemens and customers
• Successfully completes assigned training as outlined in the training path
• Follows mandatory policies, procedures, and standards and maintains tools and test equipment
• Responds to service calls (emergency and on-site) as assigned. Performs repairs as directed on all automation system types
• Responsible for completing service ticket documentation per the policy and follows maintains preventive maintenance schedules
• Maintains complete and accurate documentation of services performed and generates reports within Siemens tools
• Performs system checkout and startup on projects and other duties as assigned
• Rotational On-Call and / or Minimal Overnight Travel - Compressed schedule performance can be a factor and will require extended hours to meet commitments
• Work is generally performed at customer locations in a local area and may include time spent on construction site, which may have a moderate noise level and regular distractions
