We are seeking an individual who is experienced and highly motivated, who leads our maintenance, tool room and facilities team within the Wilburton facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of machine maintenance, electrical systems, and facility upkeep to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime. This hands-on role requires strong leadership and deep technical expertise in industrial machinery, electrical controls, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

What you will be doing :
- Supervise, train, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics, managing daily tasks, work orders, and project assignments.

- Supervise, train, and develop a team of facility technicians, managing daily tasks, work orders, and project assignments.
- Maintain and strengthen a comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance program for all industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment to maximize reliability and equipment uptime.
- Expertly troubleshoot and repair complex electrical control systems, including PLCs, motor control centers (MCCs), VFDs, and HMIs.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on industrial equipment using knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use PLC programs for troubleshooting.
- Manage maintenance budgets, track expenditures, and maintain a critical inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Coordinate with production and engineering departments to minimize operational disruptions and support capital projects.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs, potential hazards, and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate and manage external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects, ensuring all work is completed according to specifications and budget.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA standards).
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Equivalent of four years of high school (required)Minimum ten years of technical troubleshooting experience (required).Minimum of five years of supervisory experience of technical trades (required).Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or a related field (preferred).Experience with continuous improvement, Six Sigma methodology (Green or Black Belt), and / or lean manufacturing (preferred).SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises supervisory and / or non-supervisory employee(s).Interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; assisting in addressing complaints and resolving problems.Working with Human Resources on employee issuesSkills / Abilities
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations.Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion with business information.Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane, algebra, solid geometry, and trigonometry.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, or diagram formats. Ability to plan the time, method, manner, and / or performance sequence of own work; may also occasionally assist in planning work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.Ability to frequently make decisions of both minor and major importance, which may affect the work operations of other employees and / or clientele to a moderate degree.Ability to complete tasks using structured practices or policies and directed as to execution and review. Interpolation of learned things in moderately varied situations where reasoning and decision-making are essential.Regular use of complex machines and equipment; specialized or advanced software programs.REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or OSHA Safety Certificate are a plus
SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED
Intermediate : Alphanumeric data entry, spreadsheet, CMMS
Basic : Word processing / typing, Internet browser.
