    • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS :

  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered (Airfare, lodging, mileage, rental car & fuel).
  • Lodging Cap : $150 / night before taxes / fees (no incidentals permitted).
  • Rental Car : Mid-Size (Apr–Nov), Mid-Size 4WD SUV (Dec–Mar).
  • Holiday Bonus : $500 for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

    • REQUIRED PROCEDURES :

  • Interventional cardiology procedures as clinically indicated.
  • General cardiology care during weekend shifts.

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Licenses : Active Illinois license (IMLC not accepted).
  • Board : Board Certified in Cardiology (Interventional).
  • DEA : Active DEA Certification required.
  • Certifications : ACLS, CSR.
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty.
  • Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Cerner EMR.

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide interventional and general cardiology services during weekend call shifts.
  • Participate in 24-hour weekend call coverage two weekends per month.
  • Round on patients Saturday and Sunday (4–5 hours each day).
  • Respond to emergent patient needs with a 30-minute response time.
  • Provide clear documentation of patient encounters and interventions.
