Medical Search International is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist with a South Carolina license to provide ongoing inpatient care for newborns, children, and adolescents. The hospitalist will work with supportive staff including pediatric nurse practitioners, lactation consultants, and nutritionists, covering various departments including the pediatric ward and emergency department. Board certification and specific certifications such as PALS and NRP are required, with scheduled shifts available from August to December 2023.

Need : Ped-Hospitalist ( Must have SC License )

Start Date 8 / 18 / 2023

Support Staff : Pediatric NP, Lactation, Respiratory, OT, ST, Nutritionist

Interview Process : Call with VP & Medical Director

Length of need : Ongoing

Privileging Timeframe : 2 months

Department Description : Hospitalist will cover the inpatient w / o PICU, pediatric ward, labor and delivery, emergency department, nursery level I and NICU II, A, B. There are 17 nursery beds and 13 NICU beds

Patient Population / Age : Peds and Adolescents

EMR-Epic

Special Procedures : Scope of Practice : Adolescents, Peds, Neonates; admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat or consult on newborns and children through adolescence

Certifications : Board Certification is required (ABMS / AOA)

Certifications Required : PALS, NRP
