ADESA is looking for great people to join our Vehicle Detail Team! Our detail centers are the last stop in the vehicle processing lifecycle and play a vital role in sale ready preparation. Whether you're brand new to auto detailing, consider yourself an expert, or are somewhere in the middle, we'd love to talk with you. The Detailers role is to prepare vehicles for the auction by performing a variety of vehicle reconditioning tasks including interior detailing, upholstery cleaning, window cleaning, pre-wash, buffer, and quality control.

Hourly Rate : $18.00

Schedule : Monday through Friday approx 8 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM

• Clean Background & Valid Drivers License w / Clean Driving Record Required

Roll and Team

Reporting to the designated Manager or supervisor, the Detailer works as part of a production team. Detailers are responsible for completing the reconditioning process for vehicles consigned for the weekly auction. Perform all additional duties assigned by designated supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities

Other :

Drive - Follow company policies and procedures when moving vehicles.

Communication - Interpersonal skills to communicate with other employees, and members of your team.

Safety - Promote and follow safety procedures, by maintaining a clean work area and wearing protective equipment.

Detailed - Ability to pay attention to detail to make sure vehicles are up to company standards before they move to the next stage in the reconditioning process.

Tools - Ability to use cleaning tools such as : vacuums, pressure washer, drill, and cleaning chemicals.

Physical Working Conditions :

This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station / convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations.
