2nd Shift Roll Clamp Truck Operator
As a Roll Clamp Truck Operator with Liberty Packaging, you will contribute to the growth of our business by being a key player in safely moving goods and materials around a high traffic industrial environment. As a Roll Clamp Truck Operator you will help maximize efficiency of the production process by safely operating mobile equipment to move roll stock from train cars and / or trucks, manage raw materials, accurately scanning inventory in and out of the business, and safely stock rolls according to procedure. This full-time position reports directly to a Production Supervisor and is located at our Brooklyn Park, MN manufacturing facility.
Duties And Responsibilities
Safely operate mobile equipment such clamp truck, forklifts, lift trucks, hoists, or other handling equipment in a high traffic industrial environment. Accurately utilize an electronic scanning system to track inventory levels and product location. Responsible for regularly completing pre-operation inspection and reporting equipment faults or damages to leadership or maintenance. Move roll stock from train cars and / or trucks, manage raw materials, accurately scanning inventory in and out of the business, and safely stock rolls according to procedure. Follow safety regulations and company guidelines. Other duties, as assigned.
Required Education, Experience And Skills
High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution or comparable experience in place of education. 2+ years' experience operating mobile equipment Previous experience with a computer using skills such as typing, printing and data entry Ability to use math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to read work instructions to identify detailed steps for order completion Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
Compensation & Benefits
The starting pay rate for this position is $22.53 per hour, plus hourly shift differential pay (if applicable). The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and / or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses.
