Were looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Front End team within GoFundMe Pro - the platform powering nonprofits organizations and enterprise partners to create and scale fundraising campaigns. Youll manage the team building tools that let campaign creators design and launch pages using components templates and drag-and-drop flows. This includes everything from page performance and rendering to supporting custom JavaScript embeds analytics integrations and responsive design.

As a manager youll combine technical expertise in modern front end engineering with the ability to grow and guide a team instill engineering rigor and collaborate across product design and backend teams.

This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week at the office and we are therefore only able to consider candidates who are located or willing to relocate to San Francisco CA.

The Job

• Lead and grow a team of front end engineers responsible for GoFundMe Pros campaign creation and publishing experiences.
• Shape the architecture and ensure the speed and reliability of our customizable campaign creation and rendering tools.
• Ensure high-quality performant accessible and secure user experiences across web and mobile web.
• Partner closely with product and design to define vision strategy and execution plans for creator tools.
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices in React TypeScript and modern front end frameworks.
• Mentor engineers and support their career development through clear expectations feedback and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams (backend platform integrations) to deliver seamless end-to-end functionality.
• Be hands-on when needed diving into architecture reviews code and incident resolution as a player-coach.
• Comfortable with jumping on calls with customers to triage / solution problems or configuration challenges.

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $204000 - $306000 equity benefits. The salary range was determined by role level and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
