About The Position

🩺 Position Description

Start Date : As soon as credentialed (approx. 45–60 days)

Schedule : Must be available a minimum of 5 shifts / month (preferably 8–10)

Coverage Model :

Meigs ED (freestanding) : 25–35 patients / day

24-hour physician coverage (8a–8p / 8p–8a)

Mid-level support (12p–12a)

Providers manage their own documentation

No trauma designation – trauma cases transferred to tertiary centers

No admissions at Meigs (handled at Gallipolis main site)

Responsible for ED codes

Cross-coverage required across Meigs, Gallipolis & Jackson

Job Requirements

📋 Requirements

Ohio License REQUIRED (IMLC accepted with proof of LOQ within 3 days)

Board Certified ABMS / AOA in IM or FM – REQUIRED

Minimum 2+ years recent EM experience – REQUIRED

Certifications REQUIRED : ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP

Must be available for nights and weekends
