Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

Location : Baltimore, MD 21218 (Maryland healthcare jobs)

Facility : Cardiac Cath Lab Facility

Assignment Type : Locum Tenens / Travel Allied Health

Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 9 / 30 / 2025 – End : 12 / 30 / 2025)

Shift : 4x9.5-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 19 : 30)

Weekly Hours : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2260 - $2420

On-Call : One weeknight call shift (Mon-Fri) and 3-24 hour weekend call shifts per month; 1-2 on-call shifts per week

Patient Population : Adults & Geriatrics (Daily census : 12-20)

Scrubs Provided

CT / Rad Tech Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab technologist experience

At least 1 prior travel healthcare assignment required

Valid Maryland or compact state radiologic technologist license

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, RCIS or ARRT (Radiology / Cardiology)

Two supervisor references required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

Strong teamwork and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

Perform interventional cardiac cath lab procedures : cardiac stent placement, right & left heart catheterization, rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty

Scrub in and maintain sterile field during cardiac procedures

Monitor patients and deliver acute clinical care

Assist with advanced cardiac procedures : Watchman, Impella insertion, TAVI / TAVR (preferred)

Room circulator duties and operation of ACIST device (preferred)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : IV, respiratory, pharmacy, rapid response, and more

Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
