American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of vascular experience, BLS, ARRT, and FL license required.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Short-term acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma designationInterventional Radiology unit with 4 procedure rooms, 3 equipped with biplane technology (3 Siemens, 1 GE)Caseload of 20-30 cases per tech per dayWide range of procedures including stroke intervention, neurointerventions, PE thrombectomy and thrombolysis, DVT interventions, pain management, and oncology procedures such as Y-90, MAAs, and chemoembolizationsUses Cerner EMR and PACS (Cerner charting experience preferred)Day shift schedule : 4x10 hour shifts (7 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM), with weekend and on-call requirements including 8-10 call days per month and one Saturday work per monthCall requires a 30-minute response time, and on-call sleep rooms are availableCandidates may be required to float within the hospital as neededResponsibilities include handling a variety of interventional radiology cases and assisting with neurointerventional casesTeam performs both vascular and neurointerventional procedures; neuro IR experience preferred but training is availableFirst-time travelers are accepted for this positionNo RTO (time off) permitted in contract but may be discussed during interviewBlack or navy scrubs requiredReturn travelers must comply with facility-specific return policy for previous employeesSmoke-free facilityPass / fail EKG exam required (three attempts permitted)Completion of required modules prior to start and annually\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year of interventional radiology or vascular experience requiredCurrent BLS and ARRT certifications requiredFlorida state license required; compact license not acceptedExperience in procedures including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, vascular studies, neurological studies, and stroke thrombectomy IR requiredFamiliarity with PACS, contrast, and biopsy skills requiredCOVID-19 vaccination required with medical or religious exemptions acceptedMust live at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel positionCerner EMR experience preferred\n Benefits\n
