Job Description & Requirements Specialty : NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Registered Nurse – NICU (Mount Sinai West) Facility : Mount Sinai West Location : 1000 10th Ave, New York, NY 10019 Start Date : November 10, 2025 Duration : Approximately 3 months (Ends February 7, 2026) Shift : Nights – 3x12 Hours (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Schedule : Every Other Week (EOW) Night Shift Required Submittal Type : Interview Required Position Overview The NICU Clinical Nurse at Mount Sinai West delivers safe, competent, quality care to critically ill neonates using relationship-centered care principles and evidence-based nursing practice. Responsibilities include patient assessment, critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, patient / family education, and managing complex clinical needs in a high-acuity NICU setting with approximately 18-21 beds.
