Position Summary

The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and overall success of live events within a specific geographical region. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in live events, excellent business acumen, and the ability to foster strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Services Management :

  • Lead the support team in providing exceptional service to internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Develop and implement support strategies to ensure seamless operations during concert productions.
  • Monitor and optimize support processes, ensuring efficiency and high service standards.

Change Management :

  • Design and execute change management strategies to support company-wide initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the impact of organizational changes.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the change process.
  • Corporate Training :

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Ensure training programs align with the company's strategic goals and enhance employee performance.
  • Assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness, making continuous improvements.
  • Leadership and Collaboration :

  • Lead and mentor a team of support, change management, and training professionals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align support, change management, and training efforts with overall business objectives.
  • PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the live event industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, budget management, and team leadership.
  • Strong network and relationships within the live event industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region as required.
