Responsibilities Work in a hospital radiology special procedures unit Perform complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases Utilize floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines Epic EMR charting required 4x10-hour PM shifts with a rotating day off based on departmental needs On-call required every 4th weekend (Friday 5pm to Monday 7am) and one weekday per week (5pm to 7am) Potential floating to nearby sister hospital Assist proceduralist during complex vascular and neuro-interventional cases, including scrubbing and circulating responsibilities Participate in groin management post-intervention Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards for procedure set-up Demonstrate effective communication using closed loop communication methods Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons Fast-paced unit with an expectation for high quality patient care Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one year before a required break Scrub attire required in accordance with hospital policy Requirements Active NJ radiographic license required if applicable Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT BLS certification from an American Heart Association-approved provider 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardio-Vascular Technologist with radiographic licensure High school diploma or GED and completion of accredited radiographic program or associate degree required Experience operating power injection of iodinated contrast media devices Ability to document in EMR and send images to Sectra / PACs system Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-570625.
