HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Elkins, West Virginia.

Job Title : Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (MS / Tele - N2)

Location :  Elkins, WV 26241

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Night | 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver direct patient care in a medical-surgical / telemetry unit
  • Patient load :

    • CDU (Clinical Decision Unit) : 1 : 4–5

  • Med / Surg : 1 : 5–6
  • Float as needed, including to CDU MedSurg and Peds Observation
  • Document care using charting systems (not specified)
  • Work weekdays, alternating weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Maintain effective interdisciplinary communication and collaboration

    • Requirements : Experience :

  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience (2 years preferred)
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • Telemetry experience required
    • Certifications :
  • Required :

    • BLS (AHA)

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • Preferred : Additional relevant certifications

    • Licensure :

  • Active WV RN license or Compact License
  • Pending licenses accepted
