Introduction Our client is a privately owned, family-friendly general practice dedicated to the care of small animals, specifically cats and dogs. They are currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team and contribute to their high-quality, personalized care model. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm and on Saturdays from 8 : 00 am to 12 : 00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. The Associate Veterinarian will work four weekdays with a rotating schedule of half-day Saturdays. The daily schedule includes appointments from 8 : 00 am to 11 : 00 am and 2 : 00 pm to 5 : 00 pm, with a 3-hour break for lunch, personal time, or administrative catch-up. If clinic duties are complete, this lunch break can be spent outside of the office. One morning a week may be dedicated to surgery if desired, although a non-surgical schedule is also an option. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will handle 15- to 30-minute appointments focused on typical general practice responsibilities, including wellness, internal medicine, and preventive care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentoring available to support professional development. Practice Details This full-service GP clinic is equipped with digital x-ray, a new ultrasound unit, full anesthesia monitoring equipment, a fluid pump and much more. The clinic is designed to support comprehensive medical and surgical care for small animal patients. Team The practice is staffed by three doctors supported by nine assistants and one registered veterinary technician. The environment emphasizes collaboration and mentorship, fostering a supportive atmosphere for veterinary professionals at all stages of their careers.
