Virginia Licensed Financial Services Technician

A company is looking for a Financial Services Technician Sr. (BO / SDU).

Key Responsibilities

Review and process financial transactions and associated records for compliance with GAAP and other regulations

Assist with processing Unidentified Payments, Unclaimed Property, and Returned Checks

Promote MY CHILD SUPPORT automation and provide support to various divisions within the agency

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and enter fiscal transactions

Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant policies

Experience with automated financial / accounting systems

Considerable experience in reconciliation and government accounting

Experience in a Child Support Enforcement or government agency with financial reporting knowledge
