Overview : Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as a part-time picker, you will help facilitate the movement of product from our distribution center to company owned branches. When an order is placed by a branch you will pick the requested quantity, pack the order, and print a label with a routing number. Product is then moved to the next department by hand, palletjack, or forklift. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 6445 Fulton Industrial Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30336. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders and packing product efficiently and accurately
• Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product
• Using a scale for weighing product
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings
