Hospitalist physician job in Kentucky : The possibilities are endless when you join TeamHealth! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced hospital medicine (HM) physician to join our team in Glasgow, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to adult patients in an inpatient setting
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Perform procedures as required, including intubation, central line placement, and others as needed
  • Participate in daily rounds and patient care meetings to discuss cases and care plans
  • Educate and mentor medical residents and students, fostering a culture of learning
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols
