Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance & Accounting Systems Analyst to support enterprise-level financial systems and processes with a focus on Oracle Fusion ERP Financials. The ideal candidate will bridge finance, accounting, and technology by analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing agile, data-driven solutions.
This position plays a critical role in the optimization of financial operations by driving system improvements, aligning solutions with business objectives, and collaborating closely with finance and accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with finance and accounting stakeholders to gather business requirements, identify process inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
- Develop detailed documentation including business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans.
- Conduct and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including the development and execution of test cases, defect tracking, and result validation.
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Oracle Cloud ERP modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Project Accounting, and Expenses).
- Provide end-user training and ongoing support for system functionalities and new implementations.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and strategic business goals.
- Serve as a change management lead; conduct stakeholder analyses and develop roadmaps to support adoption.
- Develop and oversee project plans to address control deficiencies and improve compliance.
- Support initiatives around financial data governance, ensuring robust control frameworks are in place.
- Perform root cause analyses, manage defect remediation efforts, and document preventive measures.
- Work independently or as part of a team on large-scale initiatives involving high business risk and impact.
Required Qualifications :
Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP applications and modules (General Ledger, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Project Accounting, Expenses).Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes.Experience in systems analysis, feasibility studies, and implementation in an agile environment.Familiarity with data integration, data governance, and data warehousing concepts.Working knowledge of ETL tools and techniques.Experience with data mapping and business requirements development.Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.Strong background in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and process optimization.Expertise in documentation, stakeholder communication, and training delivery.Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and database / reporting tools.Desired Qualifications :
Proficient in SQL and / or Python for advanced data analysis and reporting.Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Oracle ERP Cloud reporting tools (BI Publisher, OTBI, FAW).Familiarity with statistical programming languages (R, Python, SAS).Knowledge of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics techniques.Experience working in agile methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe.Familiarity with data mining, data wrangling, and data transformation (structured and unstructured data).Knowledge of cloud platforms and tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure ML, Databricks, AWS, Google Cloud, Apache Spark, Hadoop.Experience with additional financial systems such as SAP or Workday is a plus.Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
