Superintendent Large-Scale Data Center Construction

Location : Upper Midwest (Remote Sites)

Project Overview

This multi-phase data center development includes several buildings, each approximately 1 million square feet, supporting 150 MW of capacity per phase. The total site potential exceeds 1 GW, with guaranteed work spanning 22.5 years, and possible extension to 57 years. Construction includes :

• Deep foundations (pipe pile and pile caps)
• Precast insulated wall panels and double-T roof systems
• Site work including roads, ponds, and underground utilities
• Winter construction strategies including temp walls and heat systems
• Coordination with multiple subcontractors and excavation teams

Role Overview

Lead field operations on a fast-paced, evolving data center project. You'll manage daily site activities, coordinate with trades, and ensure safety and schedule adherence in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

Direct site operations and subcontractor activities

Manage precast erection, deep foundations, and site utilities

Adapt to changing scopes and fluid work plans

Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards

Communicate proactively with project teams

Qualifications

5+ years of construction experience, preferably with large-scale industrial or data center projects

Strong leadership and coordination skills

Experience with precast systems, deep foundations, and winter logistics

Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore)

Willingness to work a 6-day schedule and travel between remote sites

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00 / yr.
