Position :
ImmunEdge has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated scientist to join our team to lead the In Vivo Pharmacology team.
This individual will lead model development and in vivo evaluation of novel therapeutic agents in immunology and immuno-oncology and actively contribute to discovery and lead optimization to support the ImmunEdge pipeline.
Candidates will be collaborative, enthusiastic, and passionate about drug discovery and development.
Expertise in tumor biology and immunology are highly desirable, as well as extensive technical expertise working with relevant in vivo disease models to support preclinical research.
Key Responsibilities :
Contribute to overall drug development strategy by driving in vivo testing strategy for pipeline Can do mindset; with willingness to hands-on support in vivo work and team Lead the design and implementation of in vivo experiments, including assessment of efficacy and PK / PD studies to support discovery and IND-enabling studies Establish complex in vivo models of disease in house and ensure reproducibility and reliability of experimental in vivo results Review and interpret data, overseeing analysis and communication of findings Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine lead molecules Manage and mentor junior staff, providing guidance in experimental design and overseeing / helping with study execution Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of experimental design, results, and methods Qualifications : Minimum of PhD in Biology, Immunology, or related field 8+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of success Extensive hands-on expertise and relevant research experience using animal models of human disease Experience working with syngeneic mouse tumor models, including xenografts and spontaneous models A strong understanding of in vivo PK / PD models and experience in profiling primary cells from tissue and peripheral blood by multi-color flow cytometry, ELISA-based immunoassays Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment This is an on-site position that requires working in a laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards.
Protective clothing, gloves and safety glasses are required while working in the laboratory.
Expected Salary Range :
$180,000 - $220,000 We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there is sometimes flexibility on job level and responsibilities.
Compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity, and location.
