job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAcute care certified in Nevada Reside in the Vegas area within a reasonable commute to the facility ICU experience required APP providers must be proficient with and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations and management of mechanical ventilation Ability to work PRN, approx 4-6 shifts per month Ability to work days or nights 12-hour shifts Appropriate staffing models and flexible scheduling Occurrence-based malpractice insurance Expert practice management including privileging, provider enrollment, and billing and collections W2 Employed position ICC Healthcare employees over 650 providers in 60 programs with 6-8 new programs opening each year We are part of the HCA healthcare system of care HCA owns and operates over 186 facilities in 21 states providing services to over 26 million patients annually The ICC intensivist program relies on strong team building, evidence-based protocols, and streamlined delivery of hospital-wide critical care services Providers have the ability to impact change on a national scale through our association with HCA We believe work / life balance is important and strive to help providers maintain balance Partnership with HCA provides access to data on a large scale to test and implement new models of care 265-bed facility located in the southwest; Accredited Chest Pain Center, Certified Primary Stroke Center; Joint Commission orthopedic certifications Full-service ER Department including a separate 24 / 7 Free-Standing ER facility Surgical services with robotic and minimally invasive procedures Comprehensive orthopedic services and specialized inpatient unit Behavioral health services including an 80-bed facility Women's Services including high-risk OB and a remodeled unit Full-service oncology unit with chemotherapy-certified nursing staff

ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a PRN experienced acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Provide practice in acute care with ICU experience; perform routine critical care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations, and management of mechanical ventilation
- Work PRN, approximately 4-6 shifts per month
- Work days or nights on 12-hour shifts
- Collaborate with 1 MD and 1 APP (7am to 7pm); 1 APP with MD on call for support (7pm to 7am)
- Clinical teaching with Residents / Fellows
- Ability and interest to also cover at sister facility, Mountain View in Vegas PRN
